We are so grateful to those of you who have responded so generously to our request to add an extra item to your shopping list to help maintain the food store at our Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank.
There are now 25 agencies that hold and issue vouchers for the Basics Bank and all have said how much they value our services. In over six months so far, we have redeemed more than 100 vouchers, helping over 300 people in the Fareham and Gosport area. This means our food stock in going down rapidly, so please continue your support. We hope we will also benefit from gifts at Harvest time. We also distribute toiletries for adults and children, as well as washing powder and washing-up liquid.
Gifts can be brought to the Basics Bank itself at Aspect House (behind the Argos store), Westbury Road, Fareham. We are open Mondays 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Wednesdays 12:30pm to 1:30pm, and Fridays 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
As a Christian-based organisation we value the practical and prayer support provided by so many people. Please pray for those we are helping, that their situation may improve and their future be more positive. Please also pray that enough items for distribution and funds to support the work may be given to meet the need.
